Description
Eastern Maine General Hospital Nurses School class of 1922 pose in uniform.
There were 27 nursing students at the beginning of the year and 48 at its end.
Student nurses worked 12 hour shifts and were allowed a half day a week plus Sunday and holidays for leisure time.
