Description
This photo is of the Landeen Family circa 1900 from New Sweden. The young boy on the right side is Hjelmer Landeen, the subject of Landeen Family Community Heritage Project from the New Sweden School.
Members of the family are, front row, from left, Ida (Landeen) Beesley and Olive (Landeen) Hitchcock.
In the second row, from left, are Carl Landeen, father Bengt Landeen, mother Mathilda (Johnson) Landeen, and Hjelmar Landeen. Standing, from left, are Johanna Mathilda Landeen, Swante Landeen and Alma (Landeen) Oberg.
Alma, born in 1872, was the only one born in old Sweden. Other birth years are Johanna, 1874; Swante, 1876; Hjlmar, 1880; Ida, 1882; and Olive, 1884.
