After the blizzard of January 1934. View looking southwest on Main Street. Cemetery unseen behind (and below) snow on left. Columbian Store building shows Socony sign (Standard Oil Company of New York) at front. The stack in the distance near the front of the roof outline would be the UNION sardine factory.
