Description
A 1675 copy of Major William Phillips sale of his lands along the Saco River to Richard Russell of Charlestown. This deed includes language about the fabled "silver mines" in the area of Sundays Rocks up towards Fryeburg. It is interesting to note that the consent to the sale by Phillips' wife, Bridgit, was included in the language of this document.
