Description

The little steamer Lizzie M. Snow is shown traveling north on the Kennebec River through Hallowell. The Hallowell Steam and Boom Company log booms are seen along the Chelsea shore in the background. The steamer ran between Augusta and Bath in the spring and fall between 1905 and 1910. Measuring 35.7 feet long and 9.9 feet wide, the small steamer carried a crew of two men.
