Description
The Old Toll Bridge lead from Bangor to Brewer across the Penobscot. Originally built in 1847 following a flood, the center section of the bridge was washed away in the freshet of 1902 and replaced with a metal Warren truss. The entire bridge was replaced by the city in 1912.
