Description
The first issue of Farmstead Magazine was published in 1974 by the Farmstead Press in Blue Hill. The publisher was George Frangoulis. George and Karen Frangoulis moved to Blue Hill as part of the "back to the land movement" in New England in the early 1970s. The issue includes advice on growing crops and animals, recipes, interviews, and other information to support gardeners and farmsteaders.
