Description
Costumed man and boys dressed to advertise a weekend run of The Dude Cowboy, a film playing at the City Opera House (City Theater), Biddeford, which played over the weekend of November 19-20, 1926. Large stacks of advertising cards are visible in the hands and pockets of the group. The Biddeford Daily Journal of November 19, 1926 gushed: "THE DUDE COWBOY" AT CITY THEATER FRIDAY-SATURDAY. Admirers of Bob Custer will want to see him in his newest production, "The Dude Cowboy," which is showing at the City Theater Friday and Saturday. Bob is at his best in this picture and has a splendid chance to reveal his remarkable ability as a comedian." THE DUDE COWBOY was a 51 minute long silent film.
