Description
Members of the Congregation Shaarey Tphiloh Sisterhood meet in the new board room at the synagogue on Noyes Street in Portland.
In the photo are Olivia Lieberman and Gail Hartglass. Beverly Boxstein was president of the Sisterhood.
One Sisterhood document noted that its purpose was to "beautify the synagogue, glorify the holidays, and to respect the Shabbas."
