Description
Letter from George Dennison, Oct. 4, 1814, from Dartmoor Prison in England to his father. Writing about his treatment and thoughts on the war, and requesting 200.00 to be sent to him through a merchant in Portland to a merchant in England. Arthur McLellon of Portland agreed to forward the money to the firm Lodges and Tooth in Liverpool, England, then presumably to be sent to George Dennison in prison.
