Description
Norway's famous fiddler, A. Mellie Dunham and his wife, Emma Richardson Dunham, had nine grandchildren. When the Dunhams' daughter, Ethna Pearl Noble, died in 1918, they had a major role raising the grandchildren.
Pictured are, front row, from left: Orrin and Cherry Noble, Mellie Dunham, and Pearl, Amos and Lona Noble. At rear are, from left: Ethna, Floretta, Alanson and Rose Noble.
The children's father, Nathan Noble, was in the snowshoe business with Dunham, and also was a musician.
