Description
On June 1, 2006, a rock with a plaque reading "Rildonville Settlement 1894" was placed at the foot of Day Hill near the site of the former Hotel Ridlon. Members of the Mexico Historical Society held a dedication ceremony in memory of the section of Mexico once known as Ridlonville.
