Description

This picture shows Asticou Garage being constructed on the site of the former Big Barn along Asticou Way in Northeast Harbor. Lumber from the Big Barn was used to frame the new garage constructed in 1939 by Richard M. Savage and Ralph Savage with the help of a crew that included neighbor Elbridge "Bill" Peddar.
