Description
The Carlton Bridge between Bath and Woolwich, taken from the Woolwich side, was opened on November 15, 1927. The lower deck accommodated trains and the upper deck, cars.
The postcard is addressed to John F. Reeves, Camp Wm Hinds, Raymond, New York, and postmarked July 23, 1935. The message reads: "Hello John, I think I saw Lillian this morning, she had red hair. Wm Cleaves."
