Leavitt Farm, Turner, ca. 1900

Description

One of the oldest homes in Turner was built in 1816 by Ichabod Leavitt, grandson of the first settler, Joseph Leavitt. Located at the corner of Upper Street and Bryant Road it has always been in the Leavitt Family. This set of connecting buildings was typical of New England farmhouses.
