Description
High school students at Unity High School visited farms in Troy to learn about forestry and government programs.
Local schools had active Future Farmer of America clubs and vocational training was strongly supported as many students did not go beyond high school education. The towns of Troy, Burnham, and Thorndike did not have high schools, so students were sent to the Unity school.
