Description
Eleanor Bradley Peters (1855-1941) was a resident of Portland and Boston, Massachusetts. She married Edward McClure who took her last name. Eleanor co-wrote a genealogy of her family titled: "Peters of New England: a genealogy, and family history".
This portrait is an example of photographers being more creative with pictures. Eleanor wore a large Victorian coat for the photo.
