Description
A view of the Maine State Sanatorium, a private tuberculosis treatment hospital at Greenwood Mountain in Hebron.
The Sanatorium Association was incorporated in 1901 and opened the facility in 1904. The state took it over in 1915 and renamed it the Western Maine Sanatorium.
