Description
Hannah Pierce of Baldwin, who was about 67 years old, wrote to her brother Josiah Pierce of Gorham, about her inability to find someone to operate the farm on which she lived.
Hannah planned to do the dairying herself and try to lease the plowed fields.
She sought her brother's advice about what was a continuing concern about the farm operations.
