Description
Cotton Mather, minister at the North Church in Boston, published "Magnalia Christi Americana: or the Ecclesiatical History of New-England, from Its first planting in the year, 1620. until the Year of Our Lord, 1698,' in 1702.
Chapter VII is entitled "The Wars of the Lord" and Mather includes a discussion of witches and Indians in New England.
