Description
Pat O'Malley was born in Inverin in County Galway, Ireland, in 1901. He served in the Irish Republican Army until the early 1920s.
A fluent Irish speaker, he came to Portland and began working on the docks. He joined the Portland Longshoremen's Benevolent Society in 1926.
