Description
Elise Fellows White, a native of Skowhegan, poses with her sons James Fellows White and Bruce Hugh Miller White at their Skowhegan home.
A violinist who studied in Boston and Europe, Elise Fellows married Bruce White, a mine operator in British Columbia in 1898. The couple separated in 1907 and White returned to Skowhegan.
Bruce H.M. White was born in Nelson, British Columbia, in 1900. He died in 1983. James was born in Nelson, B.C., in 1907 and died in 1976.
