Description
The Red Stallion was the hip place to party at Sugarloaf in the 60s and 70s. The Austrian ski team stayed there during the 1971 World Cup.
Pictured form left to right are Peter Roy (Captain America) from Waterville, he worked at the Red Stallion as a bartender while attending law school; Karl Schranz, who was a superstar of ski racing in the late 60s and early 70s; Wendy Rogers, and Ed Rogers. Ed and Wendy owned the Red Stallion.
