Description
Marian Adele Longfellow, known as Memie, was born April 1, 1849, about the time her parents, Marianna Preble Longfellow (1812-1888) and Stephen Longfellow (1805-1850) were separating.
Her father, who suffered from alcoholism, died about a year later.
Marian married William Francis Morris, a native of Hiddersfield, England. They had three children, and later divorced. She then married Francis O'Donogue, a native of Ireland, from whom she also was divorced. She then reclaimed the surname Longfellow. She died in 1924.
