Description
A postcard shows the Maine Eye and Ear Infirmary in Portland in about 1920.
The Eye and Ear Infirmary opened in 1890 to provide eye and ear treatment to the poor. The facility merged in 1951 with Maine General Hospital and Children's Hospital to become Maine Medical Center.
