Description
A lavender sleeveless dress made from silk chiffon and velveteen fabric was constructed with two layers of chiffon, and a gray / blue silk lining. The velveteen was cut into handkerchief panels and attached to flare out around the hem. The velveteen is a darker shade of purple than the chiffon to add contrast. The straight silhouette, without a waistband, is indicative of mid-1920s style.
