Description
Jan. 12, 1897, everything was burned in Monson from the Lake Hebron canal to P.W. Knights store. Note smoke is still rising from the ashes. In the background is the Lake Hebron Hotel which was opened in 1882. Jan. 6, 1910 this building was also consumed by a fire.
