Description
The last passenger train serving Maine, Canada's Via Rail, Atlantic Maritime, pulled into the station at Brownville Junction just after midnight on November 16, 1981.
The Atlantic Maritime route was the only line to pass through Maine and the only route outside Canada's boundaries.
