Description
Brown print cotton dress, ca. 1830. This dress is pictured at "Godey's Ladies: An Exhibition of 19th-Century Dresses" held in 1986 at the Brick Store Museum.
Godey's Lady's Book, from which this exhibition was named, was one of the most popular lady's books of the 19th century including poetry, beautiful engravings and articles of import to the women of the day.
