Description
Edward Little High School in Auburn was named after a native of Massachusetts who came to Maine in the early 1800s. In 1849, the former Lewiston Falls Academy became Edward Little Institute to honor Little, who gave time, land and money for the school.
Much of the school burned in 1943.
