Description
The amphibian plan, The Dawn, in the surf at Old Orchard Beach during a gale and high sea.
This Sikorsky Amphibian was piloted by Mrs. Frances Grayson, Wilmer Stultz and Brice Goldsborough, who were attempting a transatlantic flight.
After 500 miles, one motor failed and they returned to Old Orchard.
