Description

This September 1954 photo shows Memorial Highway near Dunn's Corner. It was taken in the aftermath of Hurricane Edna, which plummeted Maine from Sept. 9-11, 1954. Edna caused $15 million in damage to Maine and has been judged one of worst storms to hit the state.
