Description
The Portland High School senior class of 1923 put on "She Stoops to Conquer" by Oliver Goldsmith.
Arthur Waterman, who saved the program, played Mr. Marlowe.
The other parts were Edna Keough, Mrs. Hardcastle; Arthur Resnick, Mr. Hardcastle; James Flavin, Tony Lumpkin; Teresa McCormack, Miss Hardcastle; Mary Curley, Miss Neville; Israel Miller, Stingo, the Landlord; Ralph Jope, Mr. Hastings; Theodore Perry, Diggory; Ralph Purinton, Roger; Linwood Hutchins, Thomas; Elizabeth Sinkinson, Dolly; Gardner Hayden, Jeremy; and George Tapley, Sir Charles Marlowe.
Bernice Rietta performed the prologue and Frances Stevens, the epilogue.
