Description

Surveyor Benjamin Davis created this plan of lots for the Proprietors of the Kennebec Purchase to review. Land owned by Robert Blake in the town of Mount Vernon was under controversy due to a discrepancy between Blake's understanding of his lot lines and a previous survey made by Prescott and Titcomb.
