Description
The derelict American House at the corner of Pleasant and Main Streets ended its days as a boarding house and was demolished soon after` the slide was taken. The Mowry building, seen across Water Street beyond Main, appears partially boarded up. Renovated during the first decade of the 21st century, it became the Water Street Tavern and Inn. Campobello Island‘s Mulholland Lighthouse, across Lubec Channel, is visible above the roof.
