Description
Farmington State Normal School's first foray into the sport of field hockey was in 1928. It was an intramural sport organized under the guidance of Miss Marion Allen, the school's physical education instructor. Teams consisted of girls from the same dorm or classes. This photo shows the girls outfitted and ready to go!
