Description
This cluttered store was packed to the rafters with inventory--if anyone could find what they were looking for! The owner was J.D. Rawls, the portly gentleman at center with his hand on the grindstone. This store was later sold to Robert Cross Sr. and carried on by Robert Jr. as the Cross Hardware Store for much of the 20th century.
