Description
Bangor and Aroostook's Oakfield engine house with a hand powered turn table. When an engine was properly balanced on a turntable, a single man could turn the engine around. This turntable was converted to electric motor power in 1930. The caption on this image is, 'Frank Baker's roundhouse crew posing in front of enginhouse in 1922.'
