Description
A commemorative envelope issued in Australia for the 30th anniversary of the flight of the Southern Cross, the first trans-Pacific flight.
Harry Lyon of Paris Hill was the navigator. He and co-pilot James Warner were the two Americans on the flight. The captain, C. Kingsford Smith and Charles Ulm were from Australia.
