Description
The Ladies' Parlor at the Poland Spring House, one of the hotels at the Poland Spring resort.
The resort drew thousands of visitors a year, many coming from cities in the Eastern U.S. In the era before automobiles, guests arrived by train and many stayed for a month or more.
