Description
The Logbook, 1809-1814, of the Eliza Ann was owned by the Porter family of Freeport and captained by Joseph Porter. The entries span from 1809 to 1814.
The book covers several voyages ending in Archangel, Russia, in the late summer of 1812. Eliza Ann spent over two years in port because of the War of 1812.
Entries for January 9, 1812 - September 26, 1813 do not appear chronologically in the original logbook.
