Description
At the age of 68 and newly released from nearly a lifetime of imprisonment, 'Abdu'l-Baha, seated at right with white turban, visited Sarah Farmer from August 16-23, 1912 in Eliot. People came to see him from Eliot as well as Boston, New York and Washington.
'Abdu'l-Baha was the son of the founder of the Baha'i Faith, Baha'u'llah. He traveled across Europe and the United States during 1911 and 1912.
