Description
Sarah Farmer of Eliot, Maine, was the founder of what is now known as the Green Acre Baha'i School in Eliot, Maine. It began as the Eliot Hotel, situated on a knoll above the Piscataqua River. A failure as a hotel, it became a gathering place for members of all religions to discuss spiritual subjects.
