Description
A small girl watches a fisherman securing his dory ashore at low tide. In the distance is the Jameson & Wotton wharf in Friendship, where fishing, especially for lobsters, has been its major industry to this day. The photo captures an idyllic moment in a bygone era, before the advent of motorized lobster boats and pleasure craft.
