Description
A stereographic card shows a reunion of veterans of the 19th Maine Regiment, Co. D, standing on the steps of the Belfast Post Office. The reunion was held on September 2, 1875.
During the Civil War the 19th Maine mustered in at Bath on August 25, 1862 and mustered out on May 31, 1865. They fought in most of the major eastern battles, including Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, and The Wilderness.
