Description
This is a view looking southeast across Lermond's Cove to the north side of Crockett's Point in Rockland.
The wharf in the foreground belongs to the W.H. Glover Lumber Co. The schooner tied up at the Glover Wharf was used to take building materials to the islands.
The schooners tied up at Crockett's Point across the cove are delivering wood to the Cobb Lime Co. kilns whose lime sheds are visible on the shore, or they are picking up barrels of lime to be shipped to Boston.
