Description
This ladle is part of a large set of china left in the Wadsworth-Longfellow House in Portland after the death of Anne Longfellow Pierce in 1901.
The china may have been a wedding gift from her father, Stephen Longfellow, to her mother, Zilpah Wadsworth. The couple married in 1804.
