Description
This is a view looking east-southeast from the wharf of the Knox & Lincoln Railway to Rockland Harbor and Penobscot Bay in the South End of Rockland. One can see Owls Head on the horizon. The schooners in the foreground may be loading lumber or may be waiting to take passengers from the railroad to the islands.
