Description
Constant Rankin built the large, brick Rankin Block on Main Street at North Main Street in Rockland in 1853.
The storefronts on the first floor contained E. Gay & Son, Grocers & Lime Burners, and David N. Bird & Co., Coal, Wood & Ship Stores. There are many horse-drawn wagons at this busy intersection.
