Description
These tin shears were used to shear the wool from the sheep. Sheep were raised in the Aroostook Valley by the early European settlers.
The wool was carded at the Corriveau Mill located in Frenchville. When the sheep farms disappeared, the mill closed. Wool was then carded in New Brunswick, Canada.
